The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as king forever. Psalm 29:10 ESV When we find ourselves in the flood we can be comforted in knowing the Lord as our king. He is dwelling within, Lord of us all, and will keep us through the storm. We are in the Ark with Him with the New Creation passing through the abundance of water. An upgrade to our comfort is in knowing that the King sits upon the flood. He not only goes through the trials with us but He is king over it. Though He may not be the one who causes a specific circumstance He is yet king over it — He causes "all things to work together" for some good in accomplishing His purpose. 

"…all ate the same spiritual food…" (1 Cor 10:3) The spiritual food, or manna, may be right before us but we eat it as if it is merely physical. Not many of us realize the spiritual aspect of our daily circumstances. We chew physically but miss the spiritual experience while going through the wilderness. The Israelites all had manna in the wilderness and ate of it, but only a few realized what was spiritually happening. Only two entered into the promised land. Joshua and Caleb had the "hidden manna" (Rev 2:17; Ex 16:33) experience while they went through the wilderness. They gained the real value of the daily bread by discovering that "man does not live by bread alone, but by everything that goes out of the mouth of the Lord" (Deut 8:3). By this daily experience of spiritual food, they recognized every life situation as "food" for spiritual life and growth. This is basically just my notebook. I’m using it to keep track of Bible studies I’ve worked on, notes about books I’ve been reading, messages shared and the materials that might go with them, and a place to keep the small notes I have all over the place that I keep losing. In the physical world, I have a big notebook/binder/bag where I keep my current studies, message notes, and all of my loose notes about anything. I’ve been wondering what to do with all of my loose notes. They’re not complete, they’re not something to publish as a book or speak as a message but they’re useful for when I do get around to looking more thoroughly into a certain topic or book of the Bible. After trying a few things I’m now posting them on this site. There are lots to type in and I keep adding to the pile. Another purpose for adding these to a public site is to be able to share certain things with others. Often I’m asked the same questions at different places. Sometimes I can give longer answers but...

God creates out of nothing (Genesis 1:1). Thus, we are brought to zero for the new creation. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
